Responsibilities
- Documents pertinent information in patients’ charts, including initial assessment, re-assessment, treatment notes, progress notes, discharge notes, among others
- Executes complete and accurate Occupational Therapy management of the patient according to what is prescribed
- Performs appropriate competency skills in (i.e. Therapeutic Exercises, ADL Training, Adaptive Device Fabrication) in area of practice with respect to age, medical condition and residual disability Performs correct patient care procedures
- Recognizes and recommends the need to revise Occupational Therapy management of the patient
- Provides patients/relatives with information and education regarding policies and rehabilitation management
- Ensures accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity
Qualifications
- Must be a Board-Occupational Therapist
