The term OTORHINOLARYNGOLOGY is composed of three terms: Oto (Ear) + Rhino (Nose) + Laryngology (Throat). This is both a medical and surgical subspecialty that deals with various conditions concerning the ears, nose, throat, head, neck, salivary glands, oral cavity, trachea and esophagus.
